Archaeological Research Services Ltd: Consultant
Experienced consultant required, salary negotiable plus benefits package.
3 months probation leading to permanent position
Applications are invited for a highly motivated and experienced professional consultant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and with a strong track record in the production of desk-based assessments, environmental statement chapters and managing projects. They should be effective networkers and able to contribute to marketing and sales. The successful person will need to deal direct with clients, local authority and statutory body archaeologists as part of a dynamic, successful and well-regarded SME. This role requires an individual who can also check a wide range of project reports for content, expression and presentation as well as other types of project outcomes before they are submitted to a client and this will require excellent written English and verbal communication skills. You must have strong IT, negotiating and business skills, be highly organised and adept at timekeeping for dealing with a busy workload. You will be required to work closely with the Company’s other members of the consultancy team, the Managing Director and the Contracts Manager, the latter of whom you will be directly responsible to.
The post is tenable immediately and, subject to successful completion of a 3 month probationary period, will become a permanent position thereafter.
