Financial: £20,000 for Assistant Projects Officer post with generous benefits package
Timescale: The post is tenable with immediate effect, and subject to successful completion of a 3 month probationary period, will become a permanent position thereafter.
Details: Applications are invited for a highly motivated archaeologist with a professional demeanour, good field experience and with a full driving license and own vehicle and a CSCS card. We are excited to hear from anyone who fulfils these criteria. ‘Assistant Projects Officer’ is a grade for experienced field archaeologists who are able to supervise their own small-medium projects and undertake watching briefs and produce reports. Training will be provided to support the professional development of the successful individual.
You will have responsibility for undertaking and helping to deliver a wide range of projects working out of our Bakewell office where you will be accountable to the Operations Manager. Although you will attached to this office you will be required to work around the UK depending on where jobs are located.
You must also have excellent English skills and strong IT skills and ideally have some experience in the use of CAD and/or GIS. We are looking for hard working, easy going and dependable individuals who can be trusted to help follow instructions and deliver projects.
