Two Archaeological Officer positions (or potentially Assistant Projects Officers dependent on experience)

Financial: £17,100 for Archaeological Officer post with generous benefits package (£18,000 - 19,017 if appointed as an Assistant Projects Officer)

Timescale: The post is tenable with immediate effect, and subject to successful completion of a 3 month probationary period, will become a permanent position thereafter

Details: Applications are invited for two highly motivated, early career archaeologists with a professional demeanour, good field experience and preferably with a full UK driving license and own vehicle and a CSCS card. We are excited to hear from anyone who fulfils these criteria. ‘Archaeological Officer’ is our entry-level grade and training will be provided to support the professional development of the successful individuals.

You will have responsibility for undertaking and helping to deliver a wide range of projects working from our Bakewell/Sheffield office where you will be accountable to the Operations Manager. Although work will be primarily in this region you will be required to work around the UK on occasions depending on where jobs are located.

You must also have excellent English skills and strong IT skills and ideally have some experience in the use of CAD and/or GIS. We are looking for hard working, easy going and dependable individuals who can be trusted to help deliver projects. Career progression and promotion prospects exist for high performing individuals.
